Q:WHY IS THERE ONLY ONE TYPE OF MATTRESS?
Our research shows most people like their mattress to be made of memory foam, so we made the perfect version of a memory foam mattress to suit everyone. Our memory foam mattress is medium firm and moulds to the contours of your body while you sleep. Offering only one product choice is a core part of Merit’s philosophy. We believe that putting all our energy into the design and craft of just one product is the key to perfection, a more simplified buying experience for our customers and not to mention, a comfortable night’s sleep. That’s why we’re so confident with our one hundred night, no hassle, and return period.
Q: WHERE IS MERIT BASED?
Merit mattress is a UK-based company (Merit Sleep Ltd.), and Nikoo Royeshe Asr Ltd, is the sole agent of Merit Sleep Ltd, in Iran.
Q: WHAT SAFETY CERTIFICATES DOES MERIT HAVE?
All materials used in our products have the right certifications to ensure that they’re safe and non-toxic.
Q: HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
We’re really sorry but due to high demand we can only deliver within 5 working days. Our standard delivery – Sat to Thur, 9am to 5pm – is FREE and your items will arrive at your doorstep. If you’d like a narrower delivery window, you can choose from a number of options at checkout at the extra cost. Any questions, email email@example.com and we will be happy to assist you in any way. Please note: delivery will be made to your ground floor doorstep only
Q: DO I NEED TO BE HOME FOR THE DELIVERY?
Our couriers require a signature when they deliver, so yes, someone will need to be at home.
For help re-scheduling your delivery day, just contact us. The courier may charge us to re-attempt the delivery and we have to charge you as well so please make sure you are available once they’ve made a first attempt.
Q: WILL ALL PRODUCTS IN MY ORDER BE DELIVERED AT THE SAME TIME?
We do try to make sure your items get to you at the same time, but unfortunately our products aren’t always shipped together as different couriers may be used depending on the product. We do give you a tracking code for each item as soon as your order has been shipped so you can trace your merit purchases.
Q: WILL THE DELIVERY COURIER CALL BEFORE DELIVERY?
Unfortunately the couriers will not call and we can’t guarantee in anyway as they have their own policy.
Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BUYING A MERIT MATTRESS ONLINE AND BUYING FROM DIGIKALA OR ANY OTHER ONLINE RETAILER?
Digikala is an independent retailer of our products. When purchasing through Digikala you’d need to contact them directly for all after care regarding your mattress – whereas you can do it whit us.
Q: WHAT IS THE RETURN PROCESS?
Email your return request to firstname.lastname@example.org. For the mattress we’ll arrange the collection with our two-man collection company, who’ll collect the mattress from your bedroom. For other products we’ll send you a prepaid return label. Just print the label, pop it on the box and post it to us.
Q: DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE RETURN?
We offer free returns on all Merit products returned within Tehran and Alborz region. If you are living out of the above region you have to pay the cost of return. We are working hard to get this service available across the country. Bear in mind you are still eligible for our 100 nights trial.
Q: CAN I EXCHANGE MY MATTRESS?
We recommend that you carefully measure your bed frame to avoid getting the wrong size mattress, but in case you did get the wrong size it’s no biggie – we allow you to exchange your product within the one hundred night trial. If your mattress has already been unpacked, a shipping and handling fee of 5,000,000 Rials will be applied.
Q: WHO WILL REMOVE MY MATTRESS IF I DECIDE TO RETURN IT?
You can just sit back and relax while our two-man collection company will come and pick up the mattress from your bedroom. It’s completely hassle-free.
Q: DO I NEED TO KEEP THE MATTRESS BOX?
You don’t need to keep your mattress box as it will be impossible for you to get it back in there unless you’re some sort of super human! For other products, they can be returned with the original box it came in.
Q: HOW DO I PREPARE MY MATTRESS FOR RETURN?
You don’t have to worry about that – our collection company will take care of the packing for you.
Q: WHAT IS THE RETURN PROCESS IF I ORDER WITH DIGIKALA AND OTHER ONLINE RETAILER?
When you place an order through Digikala, they are responsible for managing the processing and shipment of your order. Unfortunately this means that we won’t have your order details. As Digikala are an independent retailer, we are unfortunately not able to handle any issues associated with orders placed through their website including returns.
Q: WHY IS MERIT MATTRESS SO MUCH LESS THAN THE MATTRESSES IN RETAIL STORES?
Unlike traditional mattress companies, we don’t waste money on ginormous showrooms, commissioned salespeople, overstocked inventories, or excessive shipping costs. Instead, we sell our mattress directly online and pass the savings onto you. Our vertically-integrated approach means your Merit is shipped to you fresh from our facility.
Q: DOES IT TRANSFER MOVEMENT?
The mattress was designed with you and your partner in mind, we wanted to strike a perfect balance between motion isolation and a comfortable bounce. The Merit mattress provides more movement isolation than a traditional pocket-sprung or coil mattress. If your partner is more than a few centimetres away from you, you will neither feel nor hear their movement. A perfect mattress for both of you!
Q: WHAT SETUP DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR THE MERIT MATTRESS?
We designed the Merit mattress to be versatile, so it can work with all standard foundations. As with all foam beds, you want as much direct support under the mattress as possible. A wooden slatted or platform bed offers the most support.
Q: HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THE PRODUCTS IN THE BOX?
You can keep the mattress in the box for up to three months before unfurling the mattress. The pillow and sheets can stay in the box as long as you need. The 100 night trial starts from the night you receive your Merit products
Q: HOW DOES THE MATTRESS FEEL?
The Merit mattress is meticulously engineered to meet the Goldilocks standard of “just right”. That means it’s not too firm nor too soft. It provides the cradled support of memory foam, while offering a bouncy surface for sitting or other bedroom activities.
Q: DO ANY OF THE PRODUCTS HAVE A BREAK-IN PERIOD?
In terms of a break in period for the mattress, it may take some time for your body to adjust, sometimes even up to 30 days.
Q: I HAVE SPECIFIC MEDICAL PROBLEMS. HOW WILL THE MERIT WORK FOR ME?
Every medical condition is unique in nature, so therefore it’s very difficult to say if the bed will “work” for you. We’ve had many Merit mattress owners report a relief in back pain. Feel free to call us to discuss your condition. While you won’t have a doctor on the other end of the line, our entire customer experience team is made up of sleep experts. The only way for you to truly know is to sleep on a Merit. You can try it in your home with our 100-night, risk-free trial.
Q: ARE THE MATTRESSES VEGAN?
